George Russell was left fuming at the side of the track after being forced to retire from the Canadian Grand Prix, following a fierce battle with title rival Kimi Antonelli. The British driver, who had been locked in a tense duel with his Mercedes teammate, saw his race end on lap 30 due to an apparent electrical issue.
Race Recap
Russell and Antonelli exchanged the lead multiple times in a thrilling contest, continuing their rivalry from the previous day's sprint race where they also made contact. Antonelli accused Russell of pushing him off the track for the second consecutive day. However, Russell's retirement handed Antonelli the victory and extended his championship lead.
