Danny Dyer fans are in for a treat as his film, which has been labelled one of his best performances to date, is now available to stream. The exciting crime thriller from Danny Dyer has landed on streaming platforms and fans are calling it his best performance yet.

One Last Deal: A Gripping Football Drama

The movie takes place entirely inside an office and follows Dyer as football manager Jimmy Banks, a ruthless operator prepared to cross any line to land a big-money deal for his client. Although Dyer is the only actor physically seen on screen throughout the film, several other performers contribute voice roles as the people Jimmy speaks with over the phone.

Film Ireland Magazine praised the movie as an "impressive screenwriting debut" from Peter Howlett, highlighting its sharp dialogue and strikingly relevant subject matter. Meanwhile, the Daily Express said the plot of the film, titled One Last Deal, remains gripping even for viewers who are not football fans.

Critical Reception

Not everyone was impressed, however. Critic Mark Kermode gave the film a negative review, describing it as "overwrought" and saying its 88-minute runtime felt much longer, though he did praise the production and set design.

More Danny Dyer on Screen

But if this is not enough Danny Dyer for you, he is currently back on screens regularly for series two of Rivals on Disney+. Not only this, but he is also appearing in new gameshow Nobody's Fool alongside his Rivals co-star Emily Atack. Nobody's Fool launched on Saturday (May 23) on ITV. The synopsis for the show reads: "With quizzes played in secret, preconceptions, prejudices and first impressions start to come into play, with snap judgements and misdirection keeping the contestants, and viewers, guessing. As each of the contestants sets out to prove their worth and value to the rest of the group, can the players suss out who is a genuine asset and who is simply faking it in a bid to stay in the game? And can a blagger with a plan ever beat a genius without one?"

Presenter Danny Dyer said of the new series: "This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end."

One Last Deal is available to watch on Sky Cinema.
