While milk chocolate is utterly delicious on its own, it is always a treat to sample the wide array of flavour variants lining supermarket shelves.
New Summer-Inspired Flavour
Beloved British chocolate brand Cadbury boasts an impressive selection of flavours within their Dairy Milk range, spanning timeless classics such as fruit and nut, and caramel, through to more contemporary variations featuring Biscoff biscuits or Oreo fillings. Now it appears the confectionery giant has launched a fresh summer-inspired flavour, which has already been clocked by shoppers in Morrisons stores up and down the country.
Taking to social media, popular food-focused account 'NewFoodsUK' posted a snap of the exciting new Dairy Milk bar, swiftly catching the eye of scores of chocolate lovers. "New Strawberries and Creme Frappe Cadbury Dairy Milk bars spotted at Morrisons," they wrote in the caption of the post.
Limited Edition Treat
According to Cadbury's website, this is a limited edition flavour, and comes with the classic dairy milk chocolate that has been filled with a creme layer that has been mixed with strawberry flavour rice pieces, for a 'refreshing twist on a classic' flavour. They wrote on their website: "Perfect for the summer season, put this bar in the fridge and enjoy outside in the sun."
The comment section quickly flooded with enthusiastic fans, with many tagging mates and relatives saying they 'had to try it', while numerous shoppers vowed they would be making a beeline for Morrisons to grab one. "We need to go to Morrisons," one person commented, while another declared: "I need it." "This will be nice," someone else predicted. Another agreed and said: "omg yummy." But not everyone was impressed, as someone else commented: "Can't they drop all this nonsense and just go back to the original recipe?"

However, what those desperate to sample the confectionary should be aware of is that only certain locations currently stock the treat. The chocolate can be picked up at selected Iceland, Morrisons and Food Warehouse stores at present - with prices differing depending on location. This is not the only fresh Cadbury bar news, as a bar that recently went viral in Australia is also set to land on UK shelves. The biscuit-flavoured bar combines Caramilk and Lotus Biscoff, with fans down under calling it a "wonderful partnership".
