Eurocamp Venice Site Opens May 2027 with Huge Waterpark

Already planning your summer 2027 getaway? The launch of a new Eurocamp site could prove ideal if you fancy combining beach and pool relaxation with easy access to an exceptionally beautiful and popular city break destination.

New Eurocamp Site Near Venice

Opening its doors in May 2027, Hu Eraclea Mare is a brand-new Italian camping village situated along the Adriatic coastline near Venice, spanning over 100 hectares and positioned on a stunning expanse of Blue Flag beach. Reservations are now available through the Eurocamp website from May 1 next year, perfectly timed for a half-term family escape.

Massive Waterpark Centerpiece

According to Eurocamp, the centrepiece of this latest site will be a nine-hectare water park - the largest ever constructed within an Italian holiday village. It will feature six pools, including Olympic and semi-Olympic sized facilities, lagoons, waterslides, and a 40,000 square metre solarium.

However, the pool complex won't be the sole aquatic attraction. The park is being developed along the picturesque coastal destination of Spiaggia Pannolenci, where visitors will discover calm, shallow waters perfect for swimming and soaking up the Italian sunshine.

Alternatively, guests can explore the shaded woodland paths leading to the neighbouring small town of Eraclea Mare, reports the Mirror.

Activities and Dining

Beyond the waterfront, activities include a tree experience and zip line, mini golf, paintball, and an extensive range of sports suitable for the entire family. The expansive park will also feature 30 food and drink outlets according to Eurocamp's website, encompassing authentic Italian and Venetian restaurants, gelato parlours, and bars.

After dark, a 1,500-capacity outdoor theatre will showcase an array of family-friendly entertainment featuring music and vibrant events.

Easy Access to Venice

The new Eurocamp site will also benefit from an excellent location for excursions to Venice, enabling visitors to merge a city sightseeing adventure with a family getaway. The ferry terminal at Punta Sabbioni lies merely a 40-minute drive away, where motorists can leave their vehicles and board a boat to bypass the congestion.

The ferry journey offers a scenic 30-minute voyage and provides a spectacular approach to the city. It arrives near the famous Piazza San Marco, placing numerous Venice landmarks within easy walking distance.

Nature and Beyond

Nature lovers will additionally have the opportunity to explore the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, commonly known as the Dolomites, an extensive mountain range and pristine, untouched woodland favoured for trekking, sailing across tranquil lakes, and navigating through its breathtaking terrain via canyoning.

The Adriatic coastline boasts an extensive selection of holiday parks situated along shimmering waters, and those planning a visit this summer can select from current accommodation choices including the 4-star Holiday Centre Pra' Delle Torri. This resort offers camping facilities, a holiday village featuring mobile homes, alongside an on-site hotel, with every guest benefiting from access to a waterpark complete with slides.

For those preferring hotel accommodation, the Park Hotel Pineta in Eraclea Mare is an appealing option. Situated on a private sandy beach and enveloped by thick pine woodland, this laid-back establishment provides generous family rooms and apartments.
