Saturday Kitchen Fans Stunned by Lenny Henry's Age-Defying Look
Lenny Henry Stuns Saturday Kitchen Viewers with Youthful Look

Saturday Kitchen viewers were floored by TV icon Lenny Henry's appearance when he featured as a guest on the BBC programme. The comedian, aged 67, appeared on the show on Saturday morning (June 20), where he assisted presenter Matt Tebbutt with some cooking while also entertaining audiences with his trademark humour.

Age-Defying Appearance

However, some people tuning in were distracted by Lenny's age-defying appearance, reports the Express. "Wow Lenny 67 years old looks 10 years younger," one viewer posted on X while the programme aired. "Lenny looks good for 67," another person wrote on the platform, previously known as Twitter. "Lenny Henry is a legend and I'll die on that hill!" commented someone else.

A different admirer remarked on Instagram: "Great show, so funny. Love Sir Lenny." "Hilarious episode," stated somebody else, while another fan penned: "Great show so funny. Love Sir Lenny." One viewer described the edition of the television staple as "a laugh a minute". "Loved the show," they added.

New Tour Discussion

During the episode, Lenny also discussed his new tour, which is titled Still At Large. He told presenter Matt: "It's about when I was 16 and 17 and I was at school, there was quite a lot dodgy stuff going on. I was bullied at school for quite a long time, and there was a lot of sexism and all that kind of stuff, homophobia. And it is sort of talking about how some of these things are still at large and still in play."

"But the show isn't just about that. It's about family and friends, and it's about love," he added. He joked: "And it's about where I am now in the world post the knighthood, post being the face of Premier Inn."

Lenny also revealed that his forthcoming tour performances would feature a question and answer segment, allowing the audience to pose any questions they wished, but he admitted it was a bit of a "risky" decision. "I haven't done a tour for 15 years," he added. "It has been fun writing it. It has been fun putting it together. And it's going to be a vibe, I think."

Saturday Kitchen airs on BBC One at 10am on Saturdays.
