In a historic and humiliating defeat, Welsh rugby league side North Wales Crusaders were crushed 134-0 by London Broncos, marking the heaviest loss in the 131-year history of the sport's top two divisions. The match, played at Stadiwm CSM in Colwyn Bay, saw the Broncos score an astonishing 25 tries, surpassing their earlier 106-18 victory over the Crusaders this season.
Record-breaking rout
The defeat is the third time this campaign that the north Wales side has conceded over 100 points, following their promotion from League One in 2025. Sunday's result fell just 10 points short of rugby league's all-time heaviest defeat at any level, a 144-0 loss by North Wales Raiders to York Knights in League One in 2018.
Broncos dominance
London Broncos centre Brandon Webster-Mansfield was the star of the show, scoring five tries in the rout. His team now tops the Championship table with a perfect 14 wins from 14 matches, showcasing their formidable form.
Crusaders' struggles
The Crusaders have endured a torrid season, losing 11 of their 14 games. They sit at the bottom of the table with a minus six points tally, having been penalized with a 12-point deduction due to insolvency and a change of ownership at the start of the season. So far, they have conceded a staggering 616 points.
