David and Victoria Beckham have defended their daughter Harper after Brooklyn's camp claimed her visit was 'choreographed for the cameras' amid the ongoing family feud.
Harper's Visit to Brooklyn's Home
The latest chapter in the Beckham family fallout began when reports emerged that 14-year-old Harper had travelled to Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz's Beverly Hills mansion while in Los Angeles for David's Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrations. According to reports, Harper arrived hoping to see her eldest brother but left shortly afterwards without making contact. It was later claimed she had been hand-delivering a letter.
Accusations of Staging
A spokesperson for Brooklyn and Nicola suggested the visit had been orchestrated, stating: "That photographers were in place as the letter was hand delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras."
David and Victoria have firmly rejected the accusation. A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail: "It's incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother. Nothing needed to be said at all so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary."
Family Feud Escalates
The emotional response has added a fresh layer to the bitter family dispute. Harper has largely remained out of the spotlight throughout the feud, with reports suggesting she has struggled with the breakdown in relations between Brooklyn and the rest of the family. Sources have previously claimed the teenager was particularly upset by the growing distance between herself and her eldest brother, with the pair once sharing an incredibly close bond.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn appeared to suggest he was nowhere near the Beverly Hills property at the time of the visit. Shortly after the reports surfaced, he shared a social media update from New York City, showing himself out jogging.
Brooklyn's Stance
The latest row comes after Brooklyn publicly stated earlier this year that he did not want to reconcile with his family. In a series of explosive social media posts, he claimed stepping away from his relatives had brought him peace and relief after years of anxiety.
Despite the escalating war of words, David has continued to refuse to discuss the family fallout publicly, previously insisting it remains "a private matter." However, with both sides now trading fresh accusations over Harper's reported visit, there appears to be little sign of tensions easing anytime soon.
