Eamonn Holmes, 65, was supported by his new girlfriend Katie Alexander as they attended a Christmas carol concert in west London on Wednesday evening. The couple, who made their red carpet debut earlier this week at the TRIC Christmas lunch, were seen arriving at the event in aid of rescue dogs.
Katie, 43, shielded Eamonn from the rain with a large umbrella as he used a mobility chair. The TV presenter has faced a series of health issues in recent years, including a double hip replacement, slipped disc, spinal surgery and a broken shoulder. Despite daily physiotherapy, he has expressed fears about never walking unaided again.
The outing comes amid reports that Holmes was 'seething' after his estranged wife Ruth Langsford flew to Australia for the I'm A Celebrity spin-off show Unpacked. However, a source close to Holmes denied the claims, telling MailOnline: 'It's all nonsense. He's living his life and there are no hard feelings.'
Holmes and Langsford announced their separation in May after 14 years of marriage. A joint statement at the time confirmed they were 'in the process of divorcing'. Langsford has reportedly been supported by close friends, including Rylan Clark, following the split.
