Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford has announced her engagement to boyfriend Ben McKeown after three years together. The 28-year-old, who appears on the Channel 4 show alongside her brother Pete, shared the news on Instagram with photos of the couple in a hotel room, standing in front of engagement balloons and showing off her blue oval ring.
Sophie captioned the post: 'WE'RE ENGAGED.' The pair did not reveal details of the proposal, though it appears to have involved a spa day. Co-stars were quick to congratulate the couple, with Jenny Newby and Lee Riley writing: 'Congratulations to you both; much love to you, Jenny and Lee x.'
Pete Sandiford commented: 'The three amigos have officially become four welcome to the wolf pack @benmckeown9.' Izzi Warner, who appears on the show with her sister Ellie, added: 'Congratulations to you both, gorgeous! And aren’t you buzzing you had the perfect engagement nails xxx.'
Sophie and Pete have been on Gogglebox since 2017. The news comes as former Gogglebox star Stephen Webb revealed he was 'extremely well paid' during his decade on the show, opening two salons from the earnings.
