Hamilton Shines at Milan Fashion Week
Lewis Hamilton, fresh off his first win in Ferrari colours at the Barcelona Grand Prix, turned heads at Milan Fashion Week. The seven-time Formula 1 champion attended Ralph Lauren's Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show, sitting in the front row alongside celebrities such as Scott Eastwood, Henry Golding, Colman Domingo, and Tom Hiddleston.
Hamilton showcased his fashion sense with a cashmere shirt and linen trousers worth a combined £1,920, paired with a gold buckled belt, Chelsea boots, and diamond jewellery. Fans reacted enthusiastically, with one saying: "Part-time F1 driver and full-time Aura farmer." Another added: "Winning races, fashion shows and a girlfriend?! We are so back!"
Hamilton on Fashion and Storytelling
Speaking to Vogue France before the 2026 season, Hamilton explained his fashion choices are always "intentional." He said: "I think it's a good opportunity with your on-duty style to kind of elevate up-and-coming, emerging talent. There are so many amazing designers. Storytelling is so important. With that, you're able to then tell a story with what you're wearing. It's an opportunity to showcase important causes as well."
Russell's Future in Balance, Warns Arnoux
Former F1 driver Rene Arnoux has warned that George Russell's future at Mercedes "would be in the balance" if he leads and then loses the Drivers' Championship. Russell currently sits third in the standings, nine points behind Hamilton and 50 points behind his Mercedes teammate Kimi Antonelli.
Arnoux told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Everything is at stake; if he were to lose the World Championship, his future would be in the balance. The Italian, on the other hand, can race with more confidence. He's only 19 and has competed in 31 races in his career, so the expectations are completely different." Arnoux also noted that Russell's situation is "complicated" as he does not have the same freedoms as Antonelli.
Team Orders and Championship Dynamics
Discussing team orders, Arnoux said: "It's early, we're not even halfway through the championship. In Barcelona, George Russell was faster than Kimi Antonelli in free practice and qualifying. The team couldn't ask him to move." He added that Antonelli is "loved by the team and by Wolff, and I think he has a good chance of winning the title. Mercedes, however, must be careful; there have been too many incidents between teammates in the past."
The Austrian Grand Prix is next on the calendar, with Hamilton catching up in the Drivers' Championship after his Barcelona win.
