Former Hollyoaks star Alfie Browne-Sykes has become a first-time father after his fiancée Aimee Scott gave birth to a baby boy. The actor, known for his role as Jason Roscoe on the Channel 4 soap, shared the happy news with fans on Instagram.

Alfie and Aimee posted a black-and-white photo of themselves holding their newborn son's hand, revealing his name and birth details. The caption read: "Luca William Browne-Sykes. 7th June 2026. 5 lb 12 oz. 5:00am." The couple already has a blended family, as Alfie is a stepdad to Aimee's four-year-old son, Zach William, from a previous relationship.
Friends, family, and fans flooded the comments with congratulations. One wrote: "Aww he's here. Congratulations to you and @aimee.scottx enjoy your little family of 4 xxx." Another said: "My heart. SO happy for you all !! Welcome to the world beautiful boy. Cannot wait for a big squish."
Miracle Pregnancy
The couple had announced their "miracle" pregnancy just before Christmas with a photo of a baby grow and ultrasound images. They wrote: "Our little miracle, Baby Browne-Sykes. You are already so loved. You have the sweetest big brother who is already so excited to play, protect, and love you. Our hearts are so full, and we feel incredibly blessed to be growing our family."
Alfie and Aimee first met at London Liverpool Street station in December 2022, and he proposed at the same spot two years later, at the bottom of an escalator.
Life After Hollyoaks
Alfie played Jason Roscoe on Hollyoaks from 2013 to 2016. After leaving the show, he stepped away from acting and trained as a roofer. Speaking on the Just Real podcast, he said: "Going to work every day, working on people's roofs and them recognising you from Hollyoaks is a hard thing to deal with at first – especially when they make comments and don't realise what they are saying to you." He added: "I'm just trying to crack on with my acting, trying to pursue that career. It's a lot tougher than people think. It's a lot of waiting for the right opportunities to pop, especially with all the s*** at the minute."
After splitting from co-star Amanda Clapham in 2020, Alfie began dating Aimee. Reports at the time suggested he left Hollyoaks to save his relationship with Amanda.
