Home and Away stars Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart have announced their engagement after two years of dating. The news was shared by Nicodemou on Instagram, posting a video of Stewart proposing in a park with a large diamond ring.
Nicodemou captioned the post, soundtracked by Lonestar's 'Amazing', with "I said yes!!!" Friends and family could be heard cheering in the background. Stewart also shared the video, writing "She said yes."
Former Home and Away star Lynne McGranger congratulated the couple, noting the proposal occurred on Valentine's Day. The soap's official account called it "the most wonderful news."
Nicodemou and Stewart play Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on the Australian soap, having married on-screen in 2024. Their real-life romance became public in 2024 after they were photographed kissing.
On the No Filter podcast, Nicodemou explained their transition from friends to partners after knowing each other for 25-30 years. "There was this chemistry for the first time – this spark that happened that wasn't there before," she said.
