Jeff Brazier Becomes Grandfather As Son Freddy Has Baby

Freddy Brazier, son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, is set to become a father after his ex-girlfriend fell pregnant. The 20-year-old's brief romance with the mother ended on difficult terms, but he is receiving full support from his father, a parenting coach and regular on This Morning.

A source told The Daily Mail that Jeff has been in close contact with Freddy since the news broke, helping him navigate the impending fatherhood. The source said: 'He has been in close contact with Jeff ever since, and has been taking his advice. It came as a shock to Freddy that he is going to be a dad, and he needed some help navigating it. Jeff has been amazing and is helping him so much.'

Freddy is currently spending more time at home with his father and stepmother Kate in Essex. The source added that hopes are high the news will help Freddy 'get his act together and grow up', noting that he is not working and has no access to money left by his mother until his mid-20s. His modelling career has not taken off as hoped, and he has not done TV work recently.

Jeff is reportedly keen to meet the girl's family to 'deal with this together', while Freddy is considering a DNA test to confirm paternity before becoming further involved. The father-son duo previously appeared on the reality show Celebrity Race Across The World, where they worked through their differences.

Freddy, who has been open about his struggles with drugs and mental health, said in a recent podcast snippet: 'I've been smoking since I was 12, I've been to rehab, I've been sectioned, I've had manic episodes. There's been a real journey and it's been a tough one.' In June, he expressed a desire to get clean to repair family relationships.
