Jesy Nelson has sparked romance rumours after enjoying a day at a luxury hotel spa with a mystery man, just three months after splitting from her fiancé Zion Foster. The former Little Mix star shared photos from the outing on social media, carefully concealing her companion's face.
In one snapshot, a man's arms and legs are visible by the pool, while another shows the pair enjoying cocktails. The 34-year-old singer and Foster announced their engagement last year, but confirmed their split in January, weeks after revealing their twin daughters had been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.
Jesy said the traumatic experience took a toll on their relationship. 'We have been through such a traumatic experience and for us, our girls are our main priority,' she explained. 'The energy wasn't right between us, which is understandable.' Despite the split, the couple remain committed to co-parenting their daughters.
The twins, Ocean and Story, were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, the most common and severe form, with a life expectancy of under two years without treatment. Jesy has been campaigning for newborn screening for SMA in England, celebrating a 'major milestone' after the government announced it will be rolled out in October for all babies in England.
However, she noted it's 'bittersweet' as not all regions are included. 'There are truly life changing treatments out there so no baby should be an experiment,' she said. 'All babies should be getting tested and all babies should be living.'
