New details have emerged regarding Josie Gibson's apparent romance with farrier Sam Wolfenden, following their cosy display at the Cheltenham Festival. The This Morning presenter was seen hugging and posing for photos with the equestrian influencer, leading to speculation they were a couple.
However, it has now been revealed that Sam, 32, who boasts over a million Instagram followers, is actually engaged to his childhood sweetheart Grace Richardson. The couple share a young daughter and co-own a farrier business, though Sam's social media gives no indication of his relationship status.
A source told The Sun: 'They've been together forever. Grace is a stay-at-home mum to their daughter and co-owns their farrier business. But you won't see any mention of them on his social media. Sam was advised to keep it private to boost his profile as the world's hottest farrier. His image was built on the idea that he's an eligible bachelor - hot, single and available. The truth is, he isn't available. He's very much taken.'
Josie, who found fame on Big Brother in 2011, has been open about her love life struggles. She was previously with property developer Terry Bond, with whom she has seven-year-old son Reggie. Onlookers at Cheltenham claimed Josie and Sam looked 'very comfortable with each other', with a source adding: 'Josie and Sam have got incredible chemistry. They were very flirty while filming but it really went up a notch when the cameras stopped rolling.'
Josie's first public relationship was with fellow Big Brother contestant John James Parton. She later got engaged to plumber Luke Sanwo in 2012, but they split, with Josie saying at the time: 'The passion has been slowly drifting and now it's pretty much non-existent.' The presenter has also spoken about her dating priorities, saying: 'Where would I fit them in because I'm either at work or I'm looking after my little boy? The thing is, I'm only doing it one time. So if I date somebody, that's time I'm taking away from my little boy.'
