Katie Price has stated that she will confront her husband, Lee Andrews, after he admitted to being subject to a travel ban while being held in a Dubai jail. The former glamour model has been unsuccessful in her attempts to visit Lee, who is detained at Al Awir prison on suspicion of espionage.
Katie's Ultimatum
Speaking to The Sun, Katie revealed that Lee eventually told her about the travel ban. She said, 'He has a travel ban, he did eventually tell me. I said to him, “No one will b****y care if you’ve got a flight ban. It’s not a big deal!” The big deal is, you keep videoing, saying you’re at the airport, and you’re coming to England, and you don’t turn up.'
Katie has vowed to end their marriage if she is not satisfied with his explanations. 'I'm not a mug and when I finally see Lee, I'm going to question him. And if the answers I get aren't right, that'll be it, I'll be done. That's it. And I'll just get on with my life... and not find a man on Instagram,' she said.
Reality of the Situation
Despite rumors that the saga was a publicity stunt, Katie insists it is genuine. 'This is real, this is real life; this is my life. It has been a tough few weeks, don’t get me wrong. But I’ve still stayed strong through it all, and I have a smile on my face. So, in this situation, I’m doing what I want to do, and I’m out here in Dubai, because I’m here to help Lee,' she explained.
Katie also addressed speaking to Lee's former partners, saying she is not ignoring them but wants to hear his side first. 'I cannot just walk away from my marriage without seeing him again. He is, surely, entitled to his say,' she added.
The couple married in January, and Katie remains in Dubai attempting to support Lee while awaiting the chance to see him face-to-face.
