Kris Jenner has publicly shared a Mother's Day gift from Meghan Markle, ending months of speculation about a rift between them after the so-called 'photogate' incident. The 70-year-old reality TV matriarch posted on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, showing candles from Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever and artisanal chocolates from a collaboration with Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes.
The gift was accompanied by a handwritten note that read: 'Dear Kris, Happy Mother’s Day to the most maternal woman in the world.' Kris wrote over the image: 'Thank you @meghan @aseverofficial for the beautiful Mother's Day gifts! These candles smell so delicious!! Happy Mother's Day!!!'
The gesture comes after rumours of tension began earlier this year, following the deletion of photos from Kris's 70th birthday party on 8 November 2025. The James Bond-themed soirée was held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos's Beverly Hills mansion, with guests including Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, Tyler Perry, Vin Diesel, Mark Zuckerberg, Adele and Rich Paul. Meghan and Prince Harry were among the most talked-about attendees.
Kris and her daughter Kim Kardashian had shared snapshots from the evening, including images with the Duke and Duchess, but later deleted them. Kim addressed the situation on Khloe Kardashian's podcast, explaining: 'It was really innocent... Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now... I think they realized it was Remembrance Day, and they didn’t want to be seen at a party. So we took them down to respect Remembrance Day.'
Kris's latest post confirms the friendship remains warm, with Meghan's gesture including personal touches inspired by Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's birthdays.
