Lewis Hamilton kisses Kim Kardashian, sprays champagne at Monaco GP

Lewis Hamilton cheerfully sprayed girlfriend Kim Kardashian with champagne after the Monaco Grand Prix, as the couple celebrated his second-place finish in loved-up F1 celebrations. The Ferrari driver, 41, finished behind Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli, but took time to blow a kiss to Kim from the podium before drenching her in fizz.

Champagne shower for Kim

Kim Kardashian got the full F1 experience as she was showered with champagne while supporting boyfriend Lewis Hamilton at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday. Her cream outfit and perfectly-styled hairdo became a victim of the commemorations, as she was seen covered in fizz after the race.

After cementing his second place status in the driver's championship, Lewis praised Kim's support in a new interview. "It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support," the athlete said. "It is amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day."

Grid walk controversy

However, it wasn't all fun and games for Kim, who was joined by sister Khloe Kardashian. She sparked fury from F1 fans before the race even kicked off when she shunned Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle during his grid walk. After making his way down the track, he made a beeline for the reality star, hoping for a chat. He told her: "Kim, Martin Brundle from Sky F1, how are you today?" In cringe-inducing scenes, she simply glanced in his direction and smiled before quickly turning away, a move that many branded "rude" and "disrespectful".

Romance timeline

Kim and Lewis were first linked at the beginning of the year before appearing to confirm their romance during a romantic beach getaway in April. The businesswoman, who shares four children with ex-husband Kanye West, made things Instagram official just last week, posting a snap of herself and her new man as they cycled around the streets of New York.

An insider told People Magazine of their budding relationship: "Kim's very selective when it comes to the people she allows around her kids. She's very protective of them and doesn't take new introductions lightly. The fact that Lewis has spent time with the kids reflects how much she trusts him."

All eyes will be on whether Kim joins Lewis in the paddock at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona this weekend.
