Lily Allen Defiant as Ex David Harbour Slams Her Album

Lily Allen has made a defiant public appearance in a stunning mesh dress just hours after her ex-husband David Harbour slammed her album about their relationship as 'weird'. The singer attended the Royal Academy of Arts summer party in London, wearing a fitted black maxi dress made of mesh fabric that showcased her figure.

She paired the mesh dress with a lilac feather boa and white platform heels. Lily posed for pictures with her friend and stylist Marco Capaldo. The star-studded event was also attended by Claudia Winkleman, Pixie Geldof, Alex Jones, and Munya Chawawa.

David Harbour's Reaction to the Album

David Harbour, Lily's ex-husband, recently spoke about her album 'West End Girl' for the first time in an interview with Variety. He called the album 'weird' and said it did not reflect his experience of their marriage. Harbour stated: 'It was weird. I do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that. I can't really say that much more, because it's my private life.'

Lyrics and Allegations

The album 'West End Girl' took the world by storm, covering the downfall of their marriage as they tried non-monogamy. The lyrics in several songs pointed to moments in their relationship that Lily suggested were behind their divorce. In the song 'Madeline', Lily accused David of having a three-year affair with a woman he knew, which violated the rules of their open marriage. According to the lyrics, their 'arrangement' had to 'be discreet' and not 'blatant', and 'it had to be with strangers'. Lily has said the album is 'a mixture of fact and fiction', but many view it as a primarily honest account.

Previous Digs at David Harbour

This is not the first time Lily has taken a dig at her ex-husband. In March, she wore a gown made of receipts for things her partner allegedly bought other women during a performance of the track '4Chan Stan', a song about his infidelity. Among the alleged purchases were receipts from tequila bars and the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman, nodding to a lyric: 'Never been Bergdorf's, but you took someone shopping there on May 24. You bought her a handbag. It wasn't cheap. I was in London. Probably asleep.'

Lily Allen's New Relationship

Following her split from David Harbour, Lily confirmed she is dating Jonah Freud, who is 12 years her junior. The couple were recently spotted enjoying a romantic break in Rome.
