Married At First Sight UK star Sarah Gillanders, 31, has been spotted looking very different in old photos before she found fame on the explosive E4 dating show. The reality star quit the series earlier this week after struggling to find a connection with her new husband Dean.
In the social media images taken in her twenties, Sarah has long brown hair instead of her familiar golden blonde locks seen on the show. The pictures show her enjoying nights out with friends, showcasing her natural brown hair.
Sarah quit the show during Tuesday night's commitment ceremony after experts pressed her to confront her feelings. She had initially tried to stay another week but was seen breaking down in tears as she left. The decision came after a 'fat shaming' row where she told Dean to 'lose some weight'.
Before joining the show, Sarah admitted she was struggling to find love and hoped to settle down with 'the nicest guy in the world'. However, things did not go to plan when she immediately revealed she was not attracted to Dean after meeting him at the altar.
Quitting the show, she told the experts: 'We're at that point now if I take a step back, I'm worried if I give up I'll be like, did I try?' Reassured by expert Mel Schilling, she continued: 'I don't want to hurt you anymore. I just don't think we're right for each other romantically.'
Earlier, Sarah was branded 'disrespectful and muggy' by Dean's close friend James during a dinner party. James quizzed the couple on their honeymoon, where Dean revealed he had shouted at Sarah for her 'disrespectful' behaviour.
