Paddy McGuinness Reveals Real Reason for Split with Christine as They Continue Living Together

Paddy McGuinness has opened up about his separation from wife Christine, revealing the couple still live together in their family home for the sake of their three children. The Top Gear presenter, 50, and model Christine, 35, announced their split in 2022 after 11 years of marriage, but have continued to cohabit.

In a candid interview, Paddy explained that there is 'no toxicity' in the house and that they maintain separate bedrooms out of respect for their separation. He added that they still hug, message, and call each other daily, and are not rushing into divorce or dating others. 'We both love each other,' he said.

The couple, who share children Penelope, Felicity, and Leo, released a joint statement at the time of their split, emphasising their commitment to co-parenting. Christine has echoed this, stating that the children's needs come first and that their living arrangement has not drastically changed her life.

Recent reports suggested the former couple are preparing for an expensive divorce, with Christine reportedly seeking to remain in the £4 million family mansion. However, the pair have shown they remain on friendly terms, sharing a Valentine's Day photo of their feet touching while watching TV.
