Michelle Keegan looked incredible as she modelled her own swimwear in a string of social media posts after recently celebrating her 39th birthday. The Stockport-born actress, best known for her roles on Coronation Street and other television shows, showcased her brand Orfila Bee during a weekend getaway in London.
Orfila Bee: A Personal Venture
Some may not know that the Stockport-born actress is the founder of Orfila Bee, which launched back in 2022 and is described as being 'born from her vision to create contemporary swimwear that embodies confidence, comfort and style.' Announcing the swimwear brand at the time, Michelle said on social media: 'So this has been over 2 YEARS in the making…I can’t believe it’s finally launch day!! I’ve always wanted to create my very own swimwear range that everybody feels comfortable in but with a twist.'
She added: 'It was completely worth the wait in order to perfect a multi-way bikini that you can wear in 20 different ways, and that you can wear from the beach to the bar.' There is also a very poignant meaning behind her business name. She explained: 'The name ‘Orfila Bee’ @orfilabee is so special to me as Orfila was my Grandma’s maiden name and she remains one of the biggest influences in my life. The ‘Bee’ is to represent the city in which I was proudly born and raised in.'
Birthday Weekend in London
The former Coronation Street star has now been seen sporting one of the brand's swimsuits for herself during her birthday weekend in London, as she was seen sharing various pictures of her stay at celebrity favourite, The Corinthia. It was on Sunday (June 7) that Michelle posted some snaps of herself enjoying the hotel's facilities as she slipped into a chocolate brown swimsuit, which boasted a gold detail close to the bust. Alongside the post, the star wrote: 'In the details, the shape, but most of all how it makes YOU feel [heart emoji],' before she tagged Orfila Bee so her loyal following could copy her look.
Tribute from Husband Mark Wright
It comes after Michelle's husband, Mark Wright, was seen paying tribute to her as she celebrated her 39th birthday last week. Mark, also 39, marked the occasion by sharing a string of photos of himself and the birthday girl, some from earlier in their relationship, as well as a photo of Michelle with their daughter, one-year-old Palma, during a recent Disney Cruise break. Alongside the post, the Heart Radio host gushed: 'It’s your day Baby. A year away from the big 4.0 but don’t look a day over 21. You’re too modest to realise how much of a special person you are, but what you do for us and everyone around you is more than you’ll ever realise. Love you Darling M&P.'
