Michelle McManus Stuns in Blue Dress After 9 Stone Weight Loss

Michelle McManus, the 45-year-old singer who won Pop Idol in 2003, has impressed fans with her dramatic weight loss transformation. The BBC Radio Scotland presenter recently shared a photo on Instagram showcasing her nine-stone weight loss while wearing a figure-hugging blue dress at the BBC Studios in Scotland.

In the image, McManus posed in a knitted shirt dress with diamanté detailing and a belt that accentuated her figure. She paired the dress with black tights and flat shoes, and styled her red hair in bouncy waves with a full face of makeup, including sky-high lashes and pink lipstick.

The mother-of-two captioned the post: 'We're back baby Yes The Entertainment Mic is back every Thursday on @bbcscotland and @bbciplayer.' Fans responded with compliments such as 'Looking fabulous' and 'Looking beautiful.'

McManus previously attributed her weight loss to a 17-month lifestyle change rather than weight loss injections. She told followers: 'Before this change of lifestyle, I was stuck in a cycle, endlessly searching for that elusive magic diet wand... That magic wand doesn't exist. What I've discovered instead is something even more powerful, the right support.'

Speaking on Good Morning Britain in 2024, she added: 'I think through my 20s and 30s, I was so focused on going back to Scotland and having a go at this broadcast career... that I didn't really focus at all on my weight.'
