MNEK and Beth Ditto are set to headline the UK's largest free Pride event as Pride in London unveils its 2026 campaign, 'Many Voices. One Front.' The campaign calls on the LGBTQ+ community to unite across generations at the celebration on Saturday, 4 July, in central London.
Pride in London 2026: A Rallying Call for Unity
Pride in London, the volunteer-led organisation behind the capital's flagship LGBTQ+ Pride parade since 2013, has announced its 2026 campaign. The annual event draws over 1.8 million LGBTQ+ people and allies to the streets of London. This year's campaign urges attendees to bring someone from a different generation or community segment to highlight the strength of diverse voices uniting as one.
The parade will start at 12pm at Hyde Park Corner, proceed along Piccadilly towards Piccadilly Circus, head south down Haymarket past Trafalgar Square, and conclude on Whitehall. The event is free to attend.
Musical Line-Up and Stages
MNEK will headline the Trafalgar Square stage, with performances from Beth Ditto and a six-stage programme featuring artists and speakers from across the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Each stage honours different community sections:
- Soho Square stage: Highlights trans and non-binary performers.
- Global Majority stage (Golden Square): Champions Black, Brown, Asian, dual-heritage, and Indigenous voices.
- Leicester Square stage: Honours LGBTQ+ women and non-binary artists.
- Trafalgar Square stage: Draws talent from across the community.
Addressing Pressing Issues
The 'Many Voices. One Front.' campaign tackles four key issues: trans healthcare rights, Black and Brown queer visibility, chosen family rights, and elimination of hate crime. Pride in London states: 'NHS gender-affirming care waiting lists now stretch beyond four years in some areas, while a comprehensive trans-inclusive ban on conversion therapy has yet to be enshrined in law despite a 2018 government commitment.' Additionally, 58% of London's LGBTQ+ venues have closed since 2006, and over 18,000 hate crimes driven by sexual orientation were reported in 2025.
Those wishing to contribute further can volunteer with Pride in London to support community-driven initiatives throughout the year.
