Nella Rose Accuses I'm A Celeb of Editing Her as 'Troublemaker'

YouTuber Nella Rose has criticised I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for editing her appearance on the show to make her look like 'a troublemaker'. In her first YouTube video in three years, the 26-year-old addressed the controversy surrounding her stint on the ITV reality show in December 2023.

Rose, who rose to fame on YouTube in 2016 and now has over 800,000 subscribers, said the editing omitted key emotional conversations and resolutions, making her appear confrontational. She claimed: 'I only got airtime when I was being thrown in with the snakes or when I was in conflict.'

The influencer, who also presented Catfish UK and Channel 4's Tapped Out, was the second contestant to leave the jungle after spats with Nigel Farage, Fred Sirieix, and Sam Thompson. She admitted feeling nervous about her public perception upon leaving, asking a producer: 'Have I been cancelled? Have people been slandering me?'

Despite her concerns, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly reassured her, with Ant saying: 'We loved you in there... If you walked out early on, we would have just seen conflict and nothing else.' Rose acknowledged her career felt 'stagnant' before the show and expressed a desire to become a 'household name'.
