Niall Horan Surprises London Commuters on Rush-Hour Tube

Niall Horan stunned London commuters on Monday morning as he was spotted taking a rush-hour train to Vauxhall. The 32-year-old One Direction star kept a low profile in a black baseball cap, grey jumper and black trousers, but several eagle-eyed passengers still recognised him.

One fan on a South Western train said she was left “starstruck” after realising she was sharing her morning commute with the Slow Hands singer. Posting a video to TikTok, she wrote: “London is so insane. I just shared a morning commute with Niall Horan.” She added in the caption: “Parked right next to me at the station — I tried to be lowkey but I fear he knew I clocked him.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments with envy, with one writing: “If this happened to me, I could die in peace.” Another added: “That’s the love of my life right there — so jealous!” Others joked they would have “scrambled off the train” to follow him, with one person quipping: “He’s getting ready for the Vauxhall underground war.”

The Irish hitmaker, who shot to fame after The X Factor formed One Direction in 2010, has long been known as one of the band’s most down-to-earth members. Since the group went on indefinite hiatus in 2016, Horan has carved out a successful solo career, with chart-topping albums and global tours, but has largely stayed out of the celebrity spotlight.

Away from music, the singer is in a long-term relationship with Amelia Woolley, a fashion buyer and marketing professional. The couple, who have been dating since 2020, made their public debut the following year at his charity event, the Horan & Rose Gala. In recent months, Horan is said to have splashed out on a new six-bedroom mansion in west London, reportedly worth £10 million, in a star-studded neighbourhood near Holly Willoughby and presenting duo Ant and Dec.
