Olivia Cooke, known for playing Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon, is in a relationship with co-star Ralph Davis. Davis portrayed Ser Leon Estermont in Season 2 of the show, a friend of Aegon II Targaryen played by Tom Glynn-Carney.
The couple made their romance public when they were spotted kissing at Wimbledon in 2025. Davis has also appeared in Channel 4 sitcom Big Boys, BBC series Film Club, and SAS Rogue Heroes.
Social Media and Privacy
Cooke revealed she deleted her Instagram account six months ago and is not active on social media, similar to her partner. This means little is known about their romance beyond public events.
Fan Interactions
In an interview with The Guardian, Cooke shared her experiences with House of the Dragon fans. She said: “It can be quite vitriolic at times. I don’t want this to come across as ‘Woe is me’, because I’m very grateful for the job.”
She admitted dealing with insults both on the street and online, with fans telling her they “f***ing hate your character” before asking for a selfie. “I don’t know what you can do. I just try and take it in my stride,” Cooke said.
Career and Background
Cooke, originally from Oldham, Manchester, trained at the Oldham Theatre Workshop from age eight after ballet “didn’t work out.” Her first screen credit was the TV series Blackout. She has appeared in The Limehouse Golem, Bates Motel, Ready Player One, and ITV’s Vanity Fair. More recently, she starred in Sound of Metal, Slow Horses, and Prime Video’s The Girlfriend.
Cooke is set to return for House of the Dragon Season 4, the final season, as well as Season 2 of The Girlfriend and the films Brides and Visitation. House of the Dragon Season 3 streams on Sky Atlantic, NOW, and HBO MAX UK & Ireland.
