Prince Archie seems to have one thing in common with his older cousin Prince George, despite the fact he hardly knows him. On Tuesday, Meghan Markle shared some sweet photographs from Montecito on Instagram. One of these photographs was of Archie, seven, playing with a large football with his father Prince Harry.
Royal fans react
The photograph has been shared by royal fans online, with many commenting on how Archie appears to like the sport. This is something eagle-eyed royal fans already knew, with Meghan having shared a photograph of Archie in a football club top not too long ago. Talking about the photograph of Archie playing with a gigantic football on X, one royal fan said: “Our Sporty Prince.” Another said: “I spot a Future Prince Footballer.”
Shared interest
Archie’s love for football gives him something in common with his cousin Prince George, who he has not seen for years. This is because George not only loves to watch football, but he also seems to love playing it too. This could be something the two cousins can one day bond over, if Harry and George’s father Prince William ever fix their estrangement.
While Archie and George, 12, are cousins, it is believed they hardly know one another. This is because Archie, now seven, was still a baby when he moved from the UK to the US with his parents Harry and Meghan, where the family set up a new life in Montecito - the home they still currently live in. Since then, Archie has spent very little time in the UK or with his royal relatives.
