Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster Celebrate 13th Wedding Anniversary with Takeaway in Hyde Park

Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster marked their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday with a simple yet joyful celebration, enjoying a takeaway meal and a glass of wine in the back of their car before spending the day in Hyde Park. The couple, who married on 16 June 2007, shared sweet snaps on Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

In one photograph, the 75-year-old rocker and his 49-year-old model wife beamed as they used chopsticks to eat their takeout in their luxury vehicle. Another image showed them leaning against a tree, each holding a glass of white wine. Penny captioned her post: 'Celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary with a trip into London for a take out in Hyde park, cheers everyone , good health!' Rod added: 'Cheers to my beautiful wife, 13-in-a-row.'

The couple dressed stylishly for the day. Rod wore a cornflower blue blazer over a white patterned shirt, cropped white skinny jeans, stripy socks, blue and yellow trainers, and a straw hat. Penny looked radiant in a multicoloured wrap dress with a ruffled hem, styling her blonde hair in a fishtail plait and going barefoot.

In a recent interview with The Mirror, Rod gushed about his wife, saying: 'They have not invented the words for how I feel about her. She is everything.' He credited Penny with helping him become a better person, admitting: 'It took me a while to learn, because I have been a scallywag in the past.' The couple began dating in 1999 and married in a ceremony at the medieval monastery La Cervara in Portofino. They have two sons together, Alastair, 14, and Aiden, nine.
