Scarlett Moffatt has announced a one-week break from social media following her reported second split from boyfriend Lee Wilkinson in three months. The 28-year-old ITV host took to Instagram on Saturday to inform her 1.8 million followers, writing: 'Gonna have a little break this week from social media, have a good week everyone.'
The Gogglebox star's decision is out of character, as she frequently shares sultry selfies and work updates. According to reports, the couple parted ways due to 'trust issues', with a source telling The Mirror that their romance was 'built on lies' after their first split in April.
The pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Lee has hidden his relationship status on Facebook. Scarlett is said to have 'begged' the fitness model to return after he walked out following a series of arguments. The source added: 'It looks like a case of leopards never changing their spots... It seems pretty final this time.'
MailOnline has contacted Scarlett's representatives for comment. The split comes after Lee's ex-girlfriend Sam Irving claimed he sent her pleading messages while still with Scarlett, leading to the initial break-up in April.
