In a delightful union of British and Australian television talent, EastEnders actress Natalie Spence has officially tied the knot with Home and Away star Ryan Brown. The couple exchanged vows during a picturesque ceremony held on Saturday at Sydney's stunning harbour, marking the beginning of their married life together.
A Stunning Sydney Celebration
The wedding brought together an array of soap opera personalities, creating a star-studded atmosphere for the special occasion. Natalie, aged 31, who made a memorable one-off appearance as Beth in Albert Square back in 2021, looked radiant in a white bridal mini dress featuring a corset-style top, complemented by elegant stilettos.
Her new husband, Ryan, also 31, cut a dapper figure in a crisp white suit as the couple beamed for photographs, with Natalie proudly holding her bouquet aloft. The joyful images captured the moment they embraced, celebrating the start of their new journey as a married couple.
Soap Star Guests and Well-Wishes
The guest list included several notable faces from the world of television. Among the attendees were Home and Away actor Matt Evans and his co-star girlfriend Sophea Pennington, who portray characters Theo and Lacey on the popular Australian series.
Other cast members present included Tristan Gorey, known for his role as Dr Levi, and Adam Rowland, who recently announced his engagement to long-term partner Olivia Lewis. The celebration was clearly a heartfelt gathering of colleagues and friends from the entertainment industry.
Fans quickly flocked to social media to express their congratulations, with one admirer commenting, "Wonderful news, you make a beautiful couple." The official Home and Away Instagram page also shared in the joy, posting, "So happy for @ryanbown and his beautiful wife @nataliespenceuk."
From Engagement to Wedding Bells
The couple first announced their engagement in April of last year, following Ryan's successful casting as Sonny on Home and Away in 2025. Natalie has built an impressive acting portfolio with roles in various soaps and dramas, including Emmerdale, Casualty, and Netflix's The Diplomat, alongside her brief stint on EastEnders.
A Dream Role and Supportive Partnership
Ryan recently opened up about the fortunate timing of landing his dream role, telling TV Week, "The timing was wild. My landlord was selling our apartment, so we had to leave. The day we moved was the day of my final audition."
He described waiting in an empty apartment with champagne and pizza until midnight to complete his final audition over Zoom, receiving the job offer just two days later. Ryan credited Natalie with encouraging him to seize the opportunity and make the significant move to Australia, recalling, "She said 'I'm keen for the adventure. Let's go'. Three days later, I flew home."
Prior to the wedding, Natalie shared snapshots from her hen party on Instagram, giving followers a glimpse into the pre-wedding festivities. According to reports, the newlyweds are planning a more elaborate wedding ceremony in the United Kingdom later this year, suggesting that celebrations will continue for the happy couple.
