Emmerdale actors Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley, known for playing Rhona Goskirk and Cain Dingle, swapped the Woolpack for the garden as they presented a BBC lockdown show for children today.
The couple, who are avid gardeners, appeared on BBC Bitesize Lockdown Learning's Celebrity Supply Teacher segment on CBBC at 10.05am, sharing tips on growing vegetables.
Zoe Henry tweeted a preview, saying: "Tomorrow, as part of BBC Lockdown Learning, there is another chance to watch Jeff and I waffling on about growing your own veg. We're not experts, just enthusiastic amateurs, but you might pick up a few tips!"
The pair have previously spoken about the therapeutic benefits of gardening, especially for Jeff Hordley, who was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at age 18. Zoe told Fabulous magazine: "We have an allotment and it's so therapeutic to have your hands in the earth. We're mindful of what we eat, but watching our diet isn't about being on TV, it's more about general well-being."
Zoe also revealed that their children enjoy cooking, with her daughter Violet recently making a dal from scratch.
