Junior Andre, the 20-year-old son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, has spoken about working on the London Underground to fund his music career. The singer, who turns 21 soon, said he took the job to understand the value of money and hard work, despite his family's support.
Speaking from his West Sussex home with girlfriend Jasmine Orr, 25, Junior said: 'My dad was brought up very strict, so regardless of anything, he says, “You’ve got to work, son.” I don’t want handouts. I need to learn life the proper way.' He added that people often assume he has never done a hard day's work, but he insists he has.
The couple, who recently moved in together, discussed their relationship and future plans. Junior aims to become a respected music artist and focus on men's mental health awareness. 'I feel like a lot of men don’t speak up enough,' he said, crediting his father for teaching him to be open with his emotions.
Jasmine described Junior as 'respectful, down to earth, always there for me.' She noted that living together has been a learning experience, with Junior still adjusting to independent life. The pair also hosted the UK Top Influencer Awards together, with Junior saying he felt natural on stage.
Regarding marriage and children, Junior said: 'I get scared if I think about kids, marriage, because we’re not there. There’s so much more we want to do before we think about that stuff.' Jasmine agreed, calling those 'such big things.'
