Netflix fans are staying up until 2am to watch the emotionally devastating new film 'Voicemails for Isabelle', which has shot straight to number two on the streaming charts. The romantic comedy, starring Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson, has left viewers in floods of tears since its release on Friday, June 19.
A Heartbreaking Opening
The film opens with an emotional blow as protagonist Jill (Zoey Deutch) loses her beloved sister Isabelle (Ciara Bravo) within the first few minutes. Grieving, Jill begins leaving voice messages on Isabelle's old phone number, unaware that it has been reassigned to Austin-based estate agent Wes (Nick Robinson).
Wes finds himself captivated by Jill's voice and travels to San Francisco to meet her, but his secret threatens to destroy their budding connection. The film also features comedy legend Nick Offerman as Jill's overbearing patisserie boss, Chef Bastien.
