Love Island Stars Can Order Takeaways During Filming Break

Love Island viewers do not witness every aspect of villa life, as former contestant Sean Stone has revealed a hidden truth about the ITV dating show. The new season 13 has just begun, with twelve contestants entering the villa on June 1st, hosted by Maya Jama. Already, bombshell George Knight has left due to personal family reasons.

Can Love Island Cast Order Takeaway?

Yes, the Islanders occasionally indulge in takeaway treats. Sean Stone, speaking on behalf of Heart Bingo Online, shared: "Despite the drama you see, we did get a lot of downtime. You get days off where it's super chilled and you can just order a takeaway. It's not filmed and it's like a nice little reset."

Even on filming days, meal times are rarely shown, leading to speculation about when contestants eat. A producer explained that filming during meals was attempted, but contestants were too focused on eating to produce entertaining conversations.

Advice for New Islanders

Sean advised incoming cast members: "For anyone going into the villa, I'd say the most important thing is just to be yourself. Don't overthink situations too much. Carry yourself well, be respectful, and make sure you enjoy it too, because it really is such a unique experience."

He added: "Being completely away from the outside world and without your phone is something you hardly ever get nowadays, so just make the most of every minute and have fun with it."

Sean appeared in the All Stars spin-off earlier this year, where he sparked a romance with Lucinda Strafford. Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX tonight at 9pm.
