Taylor Swift delighted fans at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles, where she performed a duet with Tom Hanks and other cast members. The singer arrived on the red carpet alongside Tom Hanks, who voices Woody, as well as Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear) and Joan Cusack (Jessie). Swift brought a VHS tape of the original Toy Story film, which the stars signed for her, and she posed with it for photos to prove her fandom.
Surprise Performance
After months of rumors, Swift confirmed on June 1 that she had recorded a song for the soundtrack. At the premiere, she surprised the audience by performing the track "I Knew It, I Knew You" with producer Jack Antonoff. Following the film, a curtain lifted to reveal Swift at a piano, and the crowd erupted in applause.
Swift's Emotional Speech
Swift expressed her gratitude, saying, "It means the world to me to be a small part of the universe of these films. Toy Story 5 is my favorite of all the Toy Story films. I’m so lucky to be a part of this. Thank you to all the creators at Disney and Pixar for their hard work. It’s insanely beautiful—a masterpiece."
The event marked a memorable evening for fans, blending nostalgia with new music from one of pop's biggest stars.
