Channel 4 has confirmed the recommission of Amanda Owen's show Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids for two additional series. The programme, produced by Wise Owl Films, follows the Yorkshire Shepherdess and her children as they renovate a dilapidated centuries-old farmhouse into a modern home.
The third and fourth series will document the Owen family's interior project, including planning room layouts and installing plumbing and water systems. Amanda Owen expressed her delight, stating: 'I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside.' She also praised the film crew's dedication in challenging weather conditions.
Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: 'Following the Owen family's incredible work to renovate Anty John's has been such a joy and I'm over the moon we're able to continue the journey with two more series for More4.' The show airs on More4 and is available to stream on Channel 4.
This announcement follows Amanda's recent social media post expressing distress over the 'desecration' of ancient flagstones near her farm. She wrote: 'Cross, cross, cross. This is not the normal kind of post I do... somebody has taken it upon themselves to desecrate it. I think that absolutely stinks, it's our heritage.'
