Returning alongside Ben Shephard on Monday, Deeley admitted to sitting on an iPad before the show went live. Shephard revealed the mishap, joking that she had 'blown the budget' for the programme. Deeley explained she sat down to put on a shoe and accidentally crushed the device.
During her absence, viewers expressed confusion on social media about her whereabouts. Some criticised stand-in Angela Scanlon, while others praised her chemistry with Shephard and called for her to become a permanent host.
This is not the first time Deeley has been the centre of attention on the show. Previously, co-star Clodagh McKenna complimented her bottom live on air during a cooking segment, leaving Deeley blushing.
