Coronation Street fans think they have worked out what Jodie Ramsey is telling the truth about, as they suspect a twist in the recent online trolling of Daniel Osbourne. It has now been months that the character has been confusing viewers of the ITV soap, with many still unsure as to what Jodie's motives are as she causes problems for various people on the cobbles.
Jodie's Arrival and Antics
Jodie was seen tied up in a van driven by Emmerdale returnee Graham Foster. While they weren't directly involved in the crash, Jodie made an escape bid, and after becoming injured, she ended up in the hospital, where she came across Shona Platt, later to be revealed as her long-lost sister. Since her arrival, Jodie has made herself comfortable at No.8 Coronation Street, where she has been seen trying to get in between her sister's relationship with her husband, David Platt. She was also seen as one of five possible victims of a murder in Weatherfield before convincing Daniel Osbourne to be her new pal.
Daniel's Discovery
As fans now know, the latter has only ended in disaster, with Daniel discovering Jodie was behind the online account, subjecting him to abuse, with online users suggesting he was in on what his former partner, Megan Walsh, was up to when she was grooming teenager Will Driscoll, making him just as culpable. Jodie mentioned something about Daniel meeting up with his online troll, something he says only he and the account's owner would know. With the penny dropping, Daniel confronted Jodie, only for her to quickly deny any involvement. However, an emotional Daniel pushed, and Jodie was forced to admit that she was the one responsible.
Public Confrontation
Struggling to cope, Daniel was later seen drunk in the pub, and while Adam Barlow tried to help him, Jodie arrived. Daniel caused a scene as he revealed that Jodie was his online troll. Jodie denied all knowledge, claiming Daniel had no evidence. As she played the victim, she told the punters: 'I'm sorry, everyone, that you've had your afternoon ruined. He's clearly very stressed. I can't cope with this,' before she left the pub in tears.
Fan Theories
But as Corrie fans know, a second account, called 'Truthteller2' was set up, and Jodie denied being involved. And they now think they know who was behind the account, as they think Jodie looks set to be redeemed for her confusing and manipulative behaviour. @J_WBerry said: 'Looks like we're seeing the rehabilitation of Jodie here. Only the audience knows what's really been like, but now she's getting the blame for things when it's not her. And, Truthteller2 will turn out to be a copycat account, and not her, either. Will Daniel want her back?' @sam_Fletcher78 replied: 'Could truthteller2 be Bethany? I read that she has a storyline that is going to upset fans.' @gregayala7 echoed: 'I think there's gotta be a twist truthteller2 is actually Bethany or Tracy or even worse I think there's a twist that truthteller2 is actually Lily.' @C70268211 added: 'Or are we seeing her get rehabilitated right before she falls down again? She is still in the running for Theo's murder for me. I liked your theory that Gary and Sarah thought they were covering for Todd, but what if they were covering for Jodie? Sarah would prob explode.'
