Emmerdale's Celia Daniels Frames Moira for Murder in Sinister Twist

Emmerdale aired a shocking twist on Monday as villain Celia Daniels revealed her plan to frame Moira Dingle for murder. The character, who recently allowed farm worker Anya to die from an untreated infection, has now taken steps to implicate Moira in the death.

Celia and her accomplice Ray Walters had been exploiting their farm workers, preventing them from leaving and taking their belongings. Anya managed to escape but was caught by Ray and brought back, where she later died from an infection. Bear Wolf discovered Anya's body had been dumped in a feed shed and demanded a funeral.

During Monday's episode, Celia visited Moira under the pretence of discussing a business contract. However, it later emerged that she had an ulterior motive. When Bear, Ray, and Celia buried Anya's body, they did so on land belonging to Moira's farm, Butlers. Celia revealed to Ray that the body was wrapped in a blanket she had taken from Moira's home, ensuring Moira's DNA would be on the body.

Celia described the move as an 'insurance plan', suggesting she is prepared to frame Moira if things go wrong. The twist comes as actress Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia, confirmed her character's time on the soap is limited, hinting at an imminent exit.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
