Emmerdale fans are set to witness upsetting scenes next week as Moira Dingle's health crisis deepens. Following a shocking seizure and increasing memory lapses, viewers suspect a devastating diagnosis such as a brain tumour or early-onset dementia may be revealed.
Moira's erratic behaviour has already caused chaos, including forgetting to secure the farm's bull, which nearly killed her brother Mackenzie Boyd. She has also shown confusion, telling her young son they would discuss something at home when they were already there.
Next week, Moira spots husband Cain seemingly cosy with Ruby Miligan and falsely accuses her of having an affair. The confrontation escalates when Moira headbutts Ruby, leaving Cain and Ruby's brother Caleb horrified. Cain restrains Moira and drags her away as she continues to go for Ruby.
Cain demands answers about Moira's violent behaviour, but becomes furious when he realises she has forgotten to attend her blood tests. As Cain storms outside, Moira is left confused and upset over their situation.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
