Emmerdale has released first-look images of a deadly car crash stunt that will air next week, leaving one or more residents fighting for their lives. The crash involves Chloe Harris, Charity Dingle, and Mackenzie Boyd, whose fates remain unknown.
In the scenes, Chloe loses control of the car after intentionally missing the correct exit, planning to abandon Charity and Mack on the moors. However, another vehicle slams into them, sending the car spiralling and eventually veering off a cliff edge.
Cast members Emma Atkins, Lawrence Robb, and Jessie Elland described filming the stunt in a gimbal that imitated the spinning vehicle. Atkins likened it to a fairground ride, while Robb admitted he laughed during the first take due to the unexpected sensation.
The crash leaves Mack forced to choose between saving Chloe or Charity, both trapped in the wreckage. The outcome will be revealed in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, airing weeknights at 7:30pm.
