Jane McDonald is set to present a new two-part travel series for Channel 5, titled 'Jane McDonald's Nashville', documenting her journey to the Music City. The 62-year-old presenter, known for her previous travel programmes on the channel, will explore the attractions of the Country Music capital and compile her essential guide to Nashville's finest experiences.
The series will see McDonald visit the famous Jack Daniel's Distillery Tour, the Parthenon replica and museum, and take a whistlestop tour through historic houses and homes. Other highlights include the Bluebird Café, the Grand Ole Opry, a Pedal Tavern Tour, and a plate of Meat and Three. The synopsis promises the adventure will be packed with Southern charm, star power, and plenty of country soul.
Channel 5's Commissioning Editor Greg Barnett said: 'Some 17.5 million people visited Nashville in 2025, and who better than Jane to experience all it has to offer and give us her take on why it's such a popular destination. With her trademark warmth, humour and love of music, she's the perfect guide to explore the sights, sounds and stories behind the home of Country.'
While the series is currently being filmed, fans will have to wait until 2026 for its broadcast. The news was shared on Instagram, where fans expressed their excitement, with one commenting: 'So looking forward to seeing you back on channel 5, with Jane McDonald's Nashville, can't wait.'
