Mean Girls Star Rachel McAdams in Gory Survival Horror Send Help

Rachel McAdams, best known for playing Regina George in the 2004 romcom Mean Girls, takes on a gritty new role in the survival horror film Send Help. The movie, directed by Sam Raimi of The Evil Dead and Spider-Man fame, follows two colleagues stranded on a remote island after a plane crash.

McAdams plays Linda Liddle, an underestimated employee who must survive alongside her insufferable and sexist boss, Bradley Preston, played by Dylan O'Brien. The film explores their tense dynamic as they fight for survival, with plenty of blood and gore along the way.

Send Help is Raimi's first original, non-franchise film in over 15 years. In an interview with Radio Times, he said he enjoyed using his trademark gore to show what Linda has to endure. 'It was fun tossing the blood again!' he remarked.
