With just one day to go until Take That's highly anticipated return to Sunderland on their Circus Live tour, fans planning to use the Metro have received crucial guidance on which stop to alight based on their ticket color.
Metro Instructions for Take That Concert
Seventeen years have passed since Take That originally performed at the Stadium of Light on The Circus tour. Back then, the four-piece group delivered unforgettable nights in Wearside with a show of unprecedented scale. Now, Gary, Mark, and Howard are revisiting the concept with The Circus 2026, which has garnered rave reviews since its launch in Southampton over a week ago.
Take That promises all the elements that made the original tour spectacular, but on an even grander scale. Excitement is building for Tuesday night's show, with stage times confirmed and fans familiarizing themselves with the Circus Live setlist.
Which Metro Stop Should You Use?
Concertgoers with purple, red, or yellow entry tickets should alight at Stadium of Light Metro station. Those with blue, orange, platinum, green, or accessible (pink) tickets should use St Peter's Metro station.
After the event, fans must board trains at Stadium of Light or St Peter's. Sunderland and Park Lane stations will be closed to Metro passengers after 10pm.
Additional Event Information
In addition to Take That's performance, fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch support acts Belinda Carlisle and The Script, as well as North East singer Zoe Birkett, who will join the band on stage for 'Relight My Fire'.
A list of banned items has also been released. All attendees are advised to allow plenty of travel time.
