Pete Wicks has broken his silence on the romantic holiday photos that emerged of him and his rumoured girlfriend Olivia Attwood. The pair were spotted kissing and looking cosy by the pool at Nikki Beach club in Saint-Tropez, France. During the latest episode of the Staying Relevant podcast, co-host Sam Thompson, 33, brought up the pictures, which were reportedly taken by a fellow holidaymaker.
Pete Wicks Addresses the Snaps
Pete, 37, confirmed he knew who took the photos and leaked them to the press. "We were just out there minding our own business and that's what people do, but [we had a] lovely holiday," he said. Sam joked about the PDA, saying, "I've never been locked in an embrace with you in a pool." Pete humorously recalled a time a pool snap of them ended up on a flag at Glastonbury.
Sam Thompson's Reaction
Sam, former star of Made in Chelsea, shared his thoughts: "You looked so comfortable and relaxed." Pete echoed that it was a "lovely" holiday with Olivia, 35, adding that he is now in "holiday mode Pete" after previously thinking holidays were a waste of time. "It was very nice to get away for a couple of days... I don't know what I've been missing for the last 37 years of my life," he said.

An onlooker told Talk to the Press: "She was very cagey towards him and seemed quite cagey in general. At the start, she definitely seemed a bit frosty, he was trying to be a bit more touchy-feely and she was not so much, but then every now and then she was a bit more reciprocal. It might just have been being in a public place. They seemed pretty happy and into each other. I'd say all is going well."
Olivia's Rare Comment
The pair are thought to have begun their romance earlier this year after Olivia's split from husband Bradley Dack. Last week, Olivia made a rare comment about Pete in a conversation with Celebs Go Dating coach Anna Williamson. She joked that Pete "couldn't find anyone" and "wanted a free meal" after his multiple stints on the show. Anna asked about his "avoidant attachment style," to which Olivia replied: "The complete opposite to what you'd expect… you would be shooketh." On her podcast Olivia's House, she added: "He's super laid back. Good sense of humour. Tick."
