Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg Reveal Baby's 'Unique' Name and Due Date Update

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and her partner Joe Sugg have shared an update on their pregnancy, revealing they have already chosen a name for their unborn son. The couple, who announced the pregnancy earlier this year, made the disclosure in a YouTube video uploaded on 27 October.

In the video, Dianne admitted that telling their families about the pregnancy was the most nerve-wracking part, while sharing the news with fans was less stressful. She said: "It was the most nervous I'd ever been. I was so nervous to tell people, I don't know why. I almost put it off." Joe added: "I think it was because it was such a big life moment. I was way more nervous to tell friends and family than I was to tell you lot."

The couple revealed they have settled on a name but are keeping it secret for now. Joe explained: "The name that we've come up with, we're not going to share it. We can't really give any clues to it other than I don't really see this name really anywhere." He described it as "quite a unique name" but not unusual like "Apple or pear". Dianne noted it is "cute when you're little" and can be shortened, similar to how Joe can become Joseph.

Joe also mentioned he has avoided saying the name aloud, while Dianne has been using it. He joked that from now on, they will refer to the baby as "Derek" to avoid accidental reveals. The couple did not disclose their due date, but Joe expressed concern they might reveal it by accident before then.

Dianne and Joe announced their pregnancy in September with an Instagram video showing stick figures of themselves with a tiny stick baby, captioned: "Our little baby boy, we cannot wait to meet you." Dianne is the first pregnant dancer to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
