Ben Shephard's 'Nipples' Gaffe on GMB Leaves Viewers in Stitches

Ben Shephard suffered an awkward gaffe on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, accidentally saying 'nipples' instead of 'nostrils' during a discussion about his face being projected onto co-host Susanna Reid's dress.

The blunder occurred when the pair discussed how the crew had been projecting images onto her green dress during local news. Shephard, 46, said: 'My nipples are...' before catching himself, prompting stunned reactions from Reid and Dr Hilary Jones.

Reid joked: 'Did your inner thoughts come out on national television to millions?' as Ranvir Singh laughed. A horrified Shephard replied: 'Nostrils. They are very easily confused.'

Viewers took to Twitter in amusement, with one writing: 'Nipples lol made me laugh and we all need laughs x.' Another added: 'Gratuitous close up of Susannah’s boobs and then Ben talks about nipples! Not even Freudian!'

Despite Shephard's plea for help from Dr Hilary, Reid quipped: 'Nobody's thinking about nostrils anymore.'
