Production Paused for World Cup

Filming for the third season of The Last of Us has been paused from 1st June to 28th June to accommodate World Cup matches taking place in Vancouver. This was confirmed by the British Columbia directory for TV and film productions. Industry insiders pointed to the World Cup as the principal reason for the delay, according to Men's Journal.

Fan Reactions

Some fans expressed anxiety on social media. One sceptical viewer predicted on X: "They'll cancel the season any minute now, just watch." Another commented: "Hopefully it's an indefinite pause."
