The CW's upcoming 'Charmed' reboot has released a new trailer, offering a glimpse of the three sisters discovering their magical heritage. The trailer opens with Mel and Maggie, who grew up together, receiving a frantic text from their mother urging them to return home. Upon arrival, they find a shattered window and their mother's lifeless body below. The police are unable to solve the murder, leaving Mel frustrated and obsessed with finding the truth.
As the sisters argue, a knock at the door introduces Macy, a half-sister they never knew existed. She shows them a childhood photo with their mother, revealing their shared lineage. The three soon discover they possess supernatural abilities: Mel can stop time, Macy has telekinetic powers, and Maggie can hear others' thoughts.
Their journey takes a turn when they are captured and tied to chairs by Harry Greenwood (Rupert Evans), who introduces himself as an 'advisor to witches.' He explains that they are the 'Charmed Ones, the most powerful trio of witches,' setting the stage for their battle against evil.
